Screen Doors

Screen Doors is a program that is commonly used with the Tracker. It is an on screen keyboard that allows patrons who have movement disabilities to still have access to computers. If a patron needs to type up a letter but they can't control the shaking of their fingers, or they are paralyzed in some way that prevents them from typing, they can use Screen Doors in combination with a word Predictor to type quickly and easily.

The patron can use the tracker to select the letters on the on screen keyboard and the word predictor will guess what words the user may be meaning. That way our patrons don't have to type in every letter in the more common words!
