Zoom Text is for people who have seeing impairments, but who can still see some of the computer screen.
It allows the user to magnify the screen by several times the original image size. It also has a speaking function that will read out the page for those users who cannot see at all. Nominally, Jaws should be the program people use to navigate when they are completely blind, but sometimes Jaws likes to mess up and not allow the computer to access input from the keyboard.
To turn Zoom Text on, double click on the icon and it automatically magnifies the screen 2x.
If you want to up that magnification, just click the up arrow on the bottom right side of the Zoom Text application. To access Zoom Text's speaking applications, click on the tab called "Level 2."
This will bring up the most used options Zoom Text has for speaking functions!
